At Ankor Defense, our mission is to provide high-quality, American-made firearm supplies and accessories built on the values of service, integrity, and responsibility. As a proud veteran- and woman-owned business, we believe that freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. We are committed to supporting the firearm community through dependable gear, ethical practices, and a dedication to safety and education. A percentage of every purchase is dedicated to initiatives that promote responsible firearm use, safety training, and programs that support and assist disabled veterans who have served our country.
Our Story
Ankor Defense was founded on a shared belief between Keith and Kaitlynn: that American-made products still matter. Growing up surrounded by military values, service, and pride in this country, they saw a growing need to bring attention back to quality craftsmanship and the importance of supporting American workers and businesses.
Too often, convenience and mass production have replaced durability, care, and pride in manufacturing. Keith and Kaitlynn wanted to create a brand for people who still value products made with integrity — products built with quality, purpose, and attention to detail right here in the United States.
Ankor Defense was created for those who believe investing in American-made goods is more than a purchase — it’s a commitment to supporting hardworking families, preserving craftsmanship, and standing behind the values that built this country.
At the heart of Ankor Defense is a shared belief that giving back to communities and helping families matters. Supporting others has always been central to Keith and Kaitlynn’s mission, which is why a portion of all proceeds will go toward local nonprofit organizations that support families and veterans in need.

Co-Founder
Kaitlynn McElyea is the co-founder of Ankor Defense, a clinical social worker, and a proud mother who is passionate about service, community, and giving back. Raised in a military family, she developed a deep appreciation for patriotism and service through her father’s military background. She is married to her husband, Steven, an officer in the United States Air Force. Outside of work, Kaitlynn enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and promote responsible firearm ownership.
